Our grain bags are made from a blend ofselected organic grains (oats, rye, etc.) with a small percentage of wood shavings. They are autoclaved and packaged in a laboratory to ensure optimal quality.
These bags can be stored for several weeks before use. Inoculate them as needed using Petri dishes, syringes of liquid culture, grain spawn any other suitable inoculum.
The bags can be stored for 3 to 4 weeks in a cool, clean room. However, for best results, we recommend using them shortly after receipt.
Benefits and Usage
- Equipped with an injection port that facilitates inoculation using our liquid culture syringes.
- Ideal for inoculating other substrates such as our optimal substrate, organic straw, or a CVG substrate in a single-tube system. They can also be used with the PF Tec method for certain specific mushrooms.
Storage and Handling
Each bag is sealed and packaged in a second, sealed bag to ensure sterility during transport and long-term storage. We recommend that you keep this second bag and do not open it: if your cleanliness conditions are not ideal, you can inject the liquid culture through the first plastic layer into the injection port of the inner bag (cleaning the surface of the plastic with alcohol first, if possible, to minimize contamination).
Precautions:
- Place the bags on flat, smooth surfaces to prevent micro-perforations that could lead to contamination.
- Handle the bags with care to keep them in good condition.
Note: All warranty claims must be submitted within 7 days of receipt, with the bags still sealed in their plastic packaging. Please contact us by email and include detailed photos of the issue.
Warranty
We guarantee the quality of the product, but not the success of your cultivation. If contamination occurs after inoculation (for example, with spore syringes), it is likely that it originated from the inoculum, and we cannot be held liable.
