A manual inoculation tool designed to quickly introduce mycelium into wood. Designed for holes 12 mm in diameter and 30 mm deep, it is ideal for log cultivation.

Mycelium compatibility

We recommend using mycelium on sawdust (fruiting blocks), which is easier to handle during inoculation.

Grain-based mycelium can also be used, but it attracts more insects and rodents. It is therefore essential to seal the holes tightly with wax and to monitor the first few weeks of incubation.

Very effective

With the team's helpful advice, I tried it with mycelium on grains, and depending on how mature the mycelium is (when it’s a little sticky, it’s perfect), it works great! Like any equipment, it needs to be maintained and cleaned after each session to prevent it from seizing up. It disassembles and reassembles very easily; the system is simple and effective. It’s an investment, but when you have a lot of logs, you save more on mycelium than you might think, even after purchasing the inoculator.
