Sold in lengths of 5, 10, or 50 meters. You can choose the length that suits you best.
One meter of tubing holds approximately 30 liters, with a 10-centimeter allowance on each end for the closures. This allows for 10–12 kg of shredded straw substrate and yields up to 3 kg of oyster mushrooms per bag over three harvests.
Note: This plastic cannot be sterilized. If you want to sterilize your substrates, we recommend the microfilter bags on our website.
How do I use it?
Cut the bag to the desired length, tie a knot at the bottom, place the seeded growing medium inside the bag, pack it down, and tie another knot to seal the bag. You can hang the bags using hooks or place them horizontally on shelves.
Don't forget to poke small holes every 15–20 cm after filling to allow the substrate to breathe, as well as in the bottom of the bag to let excess moisture escape.
