Production & Processing Times
At Mycosphere, quality is our top priority. We work with living products (mycelium) that have a limited shelf life. That’s why we produce most of our mycelium to order, so we can ship it when it’s at its peak vitality.
Here are our average production lead times:
After the order has been produced or processed, shipping typically takes 2 to 5 business days on average.
We do not split orders into multiple packages unless the weight exceeds the 30 kg limit set by the carriers. If you would like your order shipped in multiple packages, additional shipping fees will apply.
Do you need mycelium by a specific date?
Please place your order well in advance and specify your desired delivery date in the comments section when placing your order or via email.
Note: These timeframes are approximate; they may sometimes take longer depending on the size of the order placed and the number of orders currently in progress.
Some types of mycelium take longer to colonize the grains (blue-foot, stropharia), so it may take a little longer in some cases.
We prioritize quality over speed. We remove our mycelium from our incubation rooms once it is ready and ship it directly. Unlike others, we minimize cold storage as much as possible, which prevents quality loss due to extended storage times and the temperature fluctuations that result from them
