Growing conditions
Outdoor cultivation recommended. Indoor culture on layer (composted manure + casing layer). It is possible to sow mulch around areas of compost, pruning of dead leaves, and various organic debris. Cover the colonized substrate with a thin layer of soil or compost to maintain humidity. Commercial growing conditions are relatively identical to those for button mushrooms.
Outdoors it should preferably be planted in spring to fruit in the fall at the first frost.
Substrates
Composted manure, composts, litter, dead leaves. Bluefoot mycelium likes aerated substrates. Like other mushrooms, its mycelium is stimulated by the presence of different specific bacteria found in the soil.
