How can you tell if your growing medium has been properly sterilized?

Visually verify the quality of your sterilization using this sterilization tape, which is 12 mm wide and approximately 50 meters long.

To do this, cut a piece of the tape (5–10 cm) and stick it onto your item (bag, jar, etc.). The sterilization tape adheres to most surfaces: plastic, glass, metal, cardboard, etc.

If the sterilization is successful, black lines will appear on the strip, confirming the temperature reached during the process.

Keep in mind that the temperature can vary between the surface and the center of the substrate, as well as depending on where the product is located in the tank. Therefore, place it in several different locations.
