📦 Usage
If you can't use the plant right away, store it in the refrigerator for about two weeks. This variety can be grown year-round, with an ideal temperature between 12°C and 20°C.
- Make a cut along the side of the bundle at the base.
- Make sure to squeeze all the air out of the bag to prevent mold from growing inside.
- Place the bag with the opening on the side.
- Keep the bag moist until buds appear.
- Maintain a humidity level of 80 to 90% while the mushrooms are growing.
Use our mini spray bottle or professional misters to maintain optimal humidity.

🌱 Where to Grow It?
Grow them indoors (kitchen, garage, basement). Oyster mushrooms need a little light to grow. Opt for indirect sunlight and avoid anything that might dry out the substrate: drafts, radiators, and direct sunlight. Oyster mushrooms like humidity but don’t like being constantly soaked.
🔄 harvest
Harvest the clusters before the edges of the caps curl up and start to turn slightly brown. Early in the growth stage, the caps can double in size each day. When growth slows down and the caps turn light gray, it’s time to harvest. Harvesting the mushrooms while they’re young ensures better shelf life and a more tender texture.
Pull the clusters off by twisting them. Remove any remaining stem pieces from the growing medium and keep it moist until the next harvest.
Generally, we get three harvests per clump. The first is the most abundant; each subsequent harvest is half the size of the last.
Oyster mushrooms will keep for about 7 to 10 days in a paper bag in the refrigerator. For longer storage, you can freeze them or can them.
💡 Tips
To promote productivity in second and third harvests:
- Rehydrate the bags by soaking them in water overnight, then drain them and return them to the growing medium.
- Give the bundle a " cold shoc placing it in a cool place (such as the refrigerator or outdoors) overnight. This simulates the onset of winter and encourages the fungus to reproduce.
