The droplets produced are smaller than 5 microns, making this an ideal tool for maintaining high humidity in a mushroom growing environment without the risk of condensation or deposits on the developing mushrooms.

It can be used in combination with a fan to distribute the mist throughout the grow room and with a humidistat or timer to maintain a specific humidity level.

Which misting system is best for which room size?

This depends on various factors, such as the initial humidity level, temperature, air circulation, the varieties being grown, and so on. But here is an estimate based on the area:

Directions for use

• Place it in a 5- or 10-liter container (or larger) with the appropriate float. Be careful: the unit must not run dry; it must always be submerged in water.
• To extend the lifespan of the device, do not use the misting function continuously: for example, 15 minutes ON / 15 minutes OFF.
• For best results, this misting system should be used in conjunction with a fan to ensure the mist is evenly distributed throughout the growing area.
• We recommend using it with our Inkbird humidistat, which will allow you to maintain a precise humidity level. Alternatively, you can use a timer.
• To ensure your unit lasts a long time, change the water weekly and clean the unit and the reservoir with vinegar as needed to remove limescale. Regular cleaning is also important for growing mushrooms, to prevent the growth of bacteria.
