A basic laboratory tool, Petri dishes are used to culture mycelium and other microorganisms.

These boxes are designed for use with our agar-based culture media.

We recommend sealing them with our stretch films.

These Petri dishes are not autoclavable. They are already sterilized and packaged in airtight bags.

To prepare your agar plates, open the bag containing the plates in a sterile environment (glove box, laminar flow hood, Bunsen burner, etc.); otherwise, the plates can no longer be considered "sterile."

Storage/operating temperature: -10°C to 70°C

Shipping information:

We wrap the bags of Petri dishes in bubble wrap to prevent breakage during shipping, but they are still fragile. We do not issue refunds for 2 or 3 broken dishes in a bag.

If the order contains other heavy items that could damage the boxes, we reserve the right to remove the item from the order or to charge an additional shipping fee to send it in a separate package.
