One bundle is enough to inoculate between 30 and 40 logs that are 1 meter long.

The shiitake variety used is "3790," which produces excellent results in both indoor and outdoor cultivation.

These packs are designed for use with our manual inoculators.

For other varieties, you can also order our other ready-to-grow bundles. For shiitake mushrooms, we select logs at an earlier stage of mycelium maturation to optimize their colonization vigor on the log.

Maybe I went about it the wrong way

Maybe I did something wrong, but I’ve only had one (small) harvest shiitake mushrooms, and since then, nothing... just a few sprouts that turn black right away.
