Used Organic Mushroom Substrates
đ± Join the circular loop of our growing media
We produce our bales from a natural blend of untreated sawdust and organic grains. These recycled substrates come mainly from the cultivation of oyster mushrooms, lionâs mane, shiitake, and reishi. Each batch is different: we cannot guarantee a specific variety.
đŸ Uses for our recycled growing media:
- Mushroom cultivation: These substrates can still produce small batches. As always, have your harvests inspected if you are unsure about the identification.
- Insect farming: Ideal for beetles and other saprophagous insects.
- Soil amendment: Rich in carbon, they improve soil structure and promote microbial activity.
- Worm composting: An excellent way to balance carbon and nitrogen in your worm bins.
đ Product features:
- harvest substrates harvest Used for two production cycles in controlled-environment cultivation to maximize their use before recycling.
