Organic Rye Grains

Rye is one of the best types of grains for the production of mycelium on grain: resistance to bursting during cooking, composition in terms of sugars and optimal carbon/nitrogen balance.

Rye grains sold in packages of 1, 5 or 25 kg for growing mushrooms.

For the production of mycelia on grains, the rye grains are generally first soaked, then boiled and finally sterilized in bags or jars.

These grains are produced in Belgium on a farm working exclusively biodynamically, so they are certified organic.
