Production & Processing Times
At Mycosphere, we care about quality. We work with living products (mycelia) which have a limited lifespan. We therefore produce most of our mycelia to order, to be able to send them at peak vigor.
Here are our approximate delivery times in working days:
After the production or order processing time, transport is generally 3 to 5 working days on average for France, 2 to 3 days for Belgium, 5 to 10 days for Switzerland.
We do not separate orders into several packages, unless the weight exceeds the 30 kg authorized by the carriers. If you wish to send the order in several packages, you will therefore have to add additional delivery costs.
Note that these times are given as an indication, they can sometimes be longer depending on the volume of the order placed and the quantity of orders currently in progress.
Certain varieties of mycelia are slower to colonize the grains (bluefoot, stropharia), and it is therefore sometimes necessary to allow a delay of 3-4 weeks.
We take our mycelia out of our incubation rooms when they are ready and send them directly. Unlike others, we do not store in refrigerators, which avoids loss of quality due to the duration of storage and the temperature variations that follow during transport.
