Trametes versicolor, Polypore versicolore, Turkey Tail
A medicinal mushroom widely studied for its multiple properties.
The stems and caps are rather fibrous and tough, so it is generally consumed in teas, capsules, or extracts.
The mycelium is dense, thick, and very resilient. Therefore, it is also used in the production of myco-materials: packaging, insulation, fungal leather, bioremediation, etc.
Mycelium Storage: 1 month in the refrigerator
