🌱 Conditions de culture

Outdoor cultivation is recommended for the Pied-bleu, although it is possible to cultivate it indoors on a layer (composted manure + casing layer). Outdoors, it can be sown in mulch around areas of compost, pruning of dead leaves, or various organic debris. The colonized substrate must be covered with a thin layer of soil or compost to maintain humidity. Commercial growing conditions are similar to those for Button Mushrooms. Planting outdoors should preferably be done in spring for fruiting in fall, during the first frosts.

🛠️ Substrates

The Bluefoot thrives on aerated substrates such as composted manure, composts, and dead leaf litter. Like other mushrooms, its mycelium is stimulated by the presence of certain specific bacteria present in the soil.
