Sterilized Organic Grain Bags
Our grain bags are made from a blend of selected organic cereals (oats, rye, ...) with a small percentage of wood sawdust. They are autoclave sterilized and packaged in a laboratory to ensure optimal quality.
These bags can be stored for several weeks before use. Inoculate them at your convenience with your petri dishes, syringes of liquid cultures, grain spawn or any other suitable inoculum.
The bags can be kept for 3 to 4 weeks in a cool, clean room. However, for best results, we recommend using them quickly after receipt.
Advantages and Use
- Equipped with an injection port facilitating inoculation with our liquid culture syringes.
- Ideal for inoculating other substrates such as our optimal substrate, organic straw, or a CVG substrate in a monotube. They can also be used with the PF Tek method for certain specific mushrooms.
Storage and Handling
Each bag is sealed and packed in a second closed bag to ensure sterility during transport and prolonged storage. You can keep this second bag closed and not open it: if your cleanliness conditions are not ideal, you can inject the liquid culture directly through the plastic into the injection port of the inner bag.
Precautions:
- Place the bags on flat, smooth surfaces to avoid microperforations that could cause contamination.
- Handle the bags carefully to preserve their integrity.
Note: All warranty claims must be submitted within 7 days of receipt, with the bags still sealed in their plastic. Please contact us by email and include detailed photos of the issue.
Warranty
We guarantee the product quality, but not the success of your culture. If contaminations occur after injection (for example with spore syringes), it is likely they come from the inoculum, and we cannot be held responsible.
Organic Certification
All our products are certified BE-BIO-01 by Certisys Belgium.
