Trametes versicolor, known as “Turkey Tail,” is a medicinal mushroom widely studied for its many properties.
The stems and caps are fibrous and hard, making it usually consumed in herbal teas, capsules or extracts.
Mycelium is dense, thick and very resistant, which explains its use in the manufacture of myco-materials : packaging, insulation, fungal leathers, bioremediation, etc.
