Our dried mushrooms, a local and organic production 🌿
We cultivate our mushrooms in Belgium on a 100% organic substrate, made from beech sawdust and cereals sourced from the region. Once harvested, they are gently dehydrated in our low-temperature dryers to preserve all their qualities.
Dried mushrooms develop rich and intense aromas, perfect for enhancing your dishes. They are ideally suited for a variety of recipes: stuffings, soups, broths, pasta, risottos, gratins, terrines, pâtés, or to flavor sauces, meats, vegetables, and fish.

Produced in Belgium, we control the entire production process: from spores to harvesting and packaging.

- Medicinal extraction: water and/or ethanol.
30g dry = 300g fresh = For 2-3 people.
Note : Raw or undercooked shiitakes can cause urticaria-type reactions in a small percentage of the population. We recommend always cooking shiitakes thoroughly at >100°C for at least 15 minutes to avoid these issues.
Production Locale
Products in Belgium, 100% ORGANIC, traceable production from start to finish
The vast majority of dietary supplements and other mushroom-based products available on the market use mushrooms imported from China, which sometimes raises issues regarding traceability of production methods.
At Mycosphère, we control the entire production chain of our products, from the spores to the harvesting of the mushrooms, drying, and packaging.
We cultivate them on a 100% organic substrate that we produce from beech wood and selected organic cereals from our region.
The shiitake mycelium grows on a substrate that we custom-make from beech wood sawdust and organic cereals sourced from our region. This substrate is first pasteurized to eliminate any potential contaminants before being mixed with the selected shiitake mycelium in our laboratory.
Its cultivation requires time and patience: it takes 10 to 12 weeks between the reproduction of the mycelium and the harvest of the mushrooms. We control the humidity and air renewal in our growing rooms to ensure optimal development and quality of the mushrooms.
We then practice a slow drying at low temperatures (<42°C) in order to best preserve all their qualities.
1 kg of dried mushrooms corresponds to 10 kg of fresh mushrooms
