📋 Use
If you cannot use the bag immediately, you can keep it for about 2 weeks in the fridge. This variety prefers temperatures between 15 and 29°C, ideally between 18 and 22°C.
To obtain bright colours, ensure a good amount of light. Make a cut on the side of the bag at the substrate level, expel the air from the bag, and place it with the opening on the side. Keep the bag moist until the buds appear, with humidity between 80 and 90%. Use our minispray or our professional misters to maintain optimal humidity.

🏡 Where to grow it?
Grow indoors (kitchen, garage, cellar). Oyster mushrooms need some light to grow. Prefer indirect sunlight and avoid anything that could dry out the bag: drafts, heaters, direct sun. Oyster mushrooms like moisture but do not like to be soaked constantly.
📦 Harvest and storage
Harvest the clusters before the edges of the caps curl up and start to brown slightly. At the start of growth, the caps can double in size each day. When growth begins to slow, it is usually the right time to harvest. Harvesting young mushrooms allows better preservation, as well as brighter colour and a more tender texture. Pull the clusters off by twisting them. Remove any remaining stem pieces from the substrate and keep it moist until the next harvest.
We usually get 3 harvests from this type of bag. The first harvest is the most abundant, and the following harvests decrease by half each time.
Oyster mushrooms keep for about 7 to 10 days in a paper bag in the fridge. For longer storage, you can freeze or preserve them.
💡 Tips
To encourage growth and productivity of the second and third harvests:
- Re-moisten the bags by soaking them overnight in water, then drain and return them to cultivation.
- Give a cold shock by placing the bag in a cool place overnight (fridge or outside). This simulates the arrival of winter and encourages mushroom reproduction.
