Ultrasonic Misters - Mist Maker

The droplets produced are smaller than 5 microns, making it an ideal tool to maintain high humidity in a mushroom growing environment without the risk of condensation or deposits on developing mushrooms.

It can be used in combination with a fan to distribute the mist throughout the growing space and with a hygrostat or timer to maintain a precise humidity level.

Remember that the float buoy is not included and must be purchased separately (see the list above).

Which mister for which volume?

This depends on various factors such as the base humidity level, temperature, air renewal, cultivated varieties, etc. But here is an estimate according to surface areas:

• <5 m³ : 1 head : Max diffusion capacity: 300ml/h
• 5 - 15 m³ : 3 heads : Max diffusion capacity: 900ml/h
• 15 - 30 m³ : 5 heads : Max diffusion capacity: 1500ml/h
• 30 - 50 m³ : 10 heads : Max diffusion capacity: 3000ml/h
• >50m³ : PRO VDL Mister : Max diffusion capacity: 5000ml/h

Usage tips

• Place it in a 5, 10 liter or larger container with the appropriate float buoy. Be careful that the device cannot run dry; it must always be submerged in water.
• To extend its lifespan, do not use the mister continuously: for example, 15 minutes ON / 15 minutes OFF.
• For good efficiency, it is necessary to combine this mister with a fan that will help distribute the mist well throughout the growing space.
• We recommend using it with our Inkbird hygrostat which will allow you to maintain a precise humidity level. Alternatively, you can use a timer.
• For a long lifespan of your device, change the water every week, clean the device and the reservoir with vinegar if necessary to remove limescale. Regular cleaning is also important for mushroom cultivation to prevent bacterial growth.
