Replacement G4 prefilter (PureFlow)
Replacement G4 Prefilter PureFlow: the small consumable that extends the life of your HEPA.
Placed upstream of your main filtration, the prefilter traps the coarsest particles (dust, fibres, debris), improves user comfort, and helps lengthen the lifespan of your HEPA filter.
What is it for?
- “Coarse” filtration (class G4): captures visible particles and dust before they reach the HEPA.
- Protects the main filter: less clogging = longer-lasting HEPA.
- More consistent airflow: a new prefilter helps maintain good air performance.
Installation: fit the prefilter at the air intake of your unit/system (PureFlow or custom setup), ensuring it is firmly sealed and airtight to prevent unfiltered air from entering at the sides.

When to replace it?
We recommend checking the prefilter every 1 to 3 months (depending on your environment). Replace it if it looks visibly grey/loaded, if the airflow seems reduced, or if it is damaged.
FAQ
Can I clean the prefilter?
We recommend replacing it when it is dirty or damaged. Avoid washing it with water: moisture can warp the media and reduce its effectiveness. If needed, you can gently remove some surface dust with a soft vacuum, without rubbing.
Why is it so important if I already have a HEPA?
The HEPA does the fine filtration, but it clogs faster if nothing traps the large particles first. The prefilter takes the load and allows the HEPA to stay effective much longer.
What are the signs of a saturated prefilter?
Grey/black appearance, visible dust, perceived weaker airflow, fan working harder. When in doubt: replace it.
Note: lifespan varies depending on the cleanliness of the premises, frequency of use, and tightness of the installation. For best results, work in a clean environment sheltered from drafts.
