Ultrasonic foggers - Mist Maker
- 💧 ULTRA-SOUND Fogger: Designed to produce a fine, cold mist thanks to its vibrating ceramic cells.
- 🔊 OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE: Droplets smaller than 5 microns, ideal for maintaining high humidity without condensation.
- 📏 SUITABLE MODELS: Available with 1, 3, 5, or 10 heads, depending on the volume of your growing space.
- 🌍 RECOMMENDED USE: Combine with a fan and a humidistat for precise and efficient humidification.
- 💡 EASY MAINTENANCE: Change the water weekly, clean regularly to prevent limescale buildup and bacteria growth.
The droplets produced are smaller than 5 microns, making it an ideal tool for maintaining high humidity in a mushroom growing environment without the risk of condensation or deposits on developing mushrooms.
It can be used in combination with a fan to distribute the mist evenly in the growing space and with a hygrometer or timer to maintain precise humidity levels.
Note that the floating buoy is not included and must be purchased separately.
For optimal performance, combine it with our hygrometer Inkbird IHC-200 humidity controller.
Which Mist Maker for Which Volume?
This depends on various factors such as the base humidity level, temperature, air exchange rate, cultivated varieties, etc. Here is an estimate based on area:
- <5 m³ : 1 head : Maximum diffusion capacity: 300ml/h
- 5 - 15 m³: 3 heads : Maximum diffusion capacity: 900ml/h
- 15 - 30 m³ : 5 heads : Maximum diffusion capacity: 1500ml/h
- 30 - 50 m³ : 10 heads : Maximum diffusion capacity: 3000ml/h
- >50 m³ : PRO VDL Mist Maker : Maximum diffusion capacity: 5000ml/h
Features
- Powered by AC outlet
- 1-year warranty
Usage Tips
- Place it in a 5 to 10-liter container or larger with the appropriate floating buoy. Be careful not to run the device dry; it must always be submerged in water.
- To extend its lifespan, avoid continuous operation: 15 minutes ON / 15 minutes OFF, for example.
- For optimal efficiency, it is necessary to combine this mist maker with a fan to distribute the mist evenly in the growing area.
- We recommend using it with our Inkbird hygrometer to maintain precise humidity levels. Alternatively, you can use a timer.
- For a long lifespan of your device, regularly change the ceramic membrane. Change the water every week, clean the device and reservoir with vinegar if necessary to remove lime scale. Regular cleaning is also important for mushroom cultivation to prevent bacterial growth.
