📋 Utilization
If you cannot use the bundle immediately, you can store it for +-2 weeks in the fridge. This variety appreciates temperatures between 15 and 29°C, the ideal being between 18 and 22°C.
To obtain beautiful colors, ensure a good amount of light. Make a cut on the side of the bale at the level of the substrate, expel the air from the bag, and place it with the opening on its side. Keep the bag moist until the buds appear, with a humidity of 80 to 90%. Use our minispray or our professional misters to maintain optimal humidity.

🏡 Where to grow it?
Grow indoors (kitchen, garage, cellar). Oyster mushrooms need a little light to grow. Prefer indirect sunlight and avoid anything that could dry out the bale: drafts, radiators, direct sun. Oyster mushrooms like humidity but don't like to be soaked all the time.
📦 Harvesting and preservation
The bunches must be harvested before the edges of the caps rise and begin to brown slightly. At the beginning of growth, the caps can double in size each day. When growth begins to slow, it is usually a good time to harvest. Harvesting mushrooms young allows for better preservation, as well as a brighter color and a more tender texture. Tear off the bunches by turning them on themselves. Remove any remaining stem pieces from the substrate and keep it moist until the next harvest.
We generally make 3 harvests on this type of bale. The first harvest is the most abundant, and subsequent harvests decrease by half each time.
Oyster mushrooms will keep for around 7 to 10 days in a paper bag in the fridge. For longer storage, you can freeze or can them.
💡 Tips
To encourage growth and productivity of second and third crops:
- Remoisten the bags by immersing them overnight in water, then drain them and return them to culture.
- Give a thermal shock by placing the bundle in a cool place overnight (fridge or outside). This simulates the arrival of winter and encourages mushroom reproduction.
