Delivery delay :

We work with living products (mycelia) which have a limited lifespan. We try to send the mycelia as soon as they are ready, at peak vigor. This is why most of our products are made to order, which can take 2-3 weeks. This is the time it takes for the mycelium to develop.

For the most commonly requested products we generally have stock and we can send it more quickly (oyster mushrooms for example). For other non-living products (bags, dry substrates for example), we generally ship the products within 3-5 working days.

More information on preparation times here .

Delivery takes 1 to 5 working days depending on the carrier and destination.

Possible delay for the holiday period (from 11/24 to 12/31)

Due to Black Friday and the approaching holiday season, carriers are announcing delivery times possibly extended by up to 10 days. The majority of packages will normally be delivered within 3-5 working days, but this should be taken into account when ordering.

We fully reflect carrier prices, and we make no margins on transportation.

Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming receipt of your order. If this is not the case, check your spam folder first, otherwise contact us about this. You will receive a second email when your order is shipped, with a tracking number. With Mondial Relay, you also receive an email and/or text message confirming the arrival of the package at the drop-off point.

Carriers: Shipments are made via Bpost, Mondial Relay or DPD. Depending on the destinations and the type of shipment, the customer chooses his carrier. Shipping costs depend on the weight of the products and the destination. The price is indicated after indicating your address, before payment.

If you do not receive confirmation or notification about shipping from us, please check your junk mail folder first.

Risks and responsibilities: Delivery is included from the moment the packages are taken care of by the carrier.

Depending on the destinations and times of year, temperatures can be detrimental to the proper preservation of the mycelium during transport (>25°).

Delivery is the responsibility of the customer. La Mycosphere is not responsible for any possible deterioration of the products during transport, due to temperature, a delay in delivery, a customs blockage or storage conditions at the collection point for example (non-exhaustive list).

La Mycosphere is not responsible if the package could not be delivered due to a wrong address indicated by the customer, its absence during delivery, or a delay exceeded at the collection point for example.

We have the possibility of sending refrigerated transport if necessary (shipping costs are higher).

Returns: For live products (mycelium), there are no returns possible. Transport conditions cannot be guaranteed (temperature, shaking, etc.). Upon return, the mycelia support a second transport and would not support a third transport, they are therefore considered lost and to be replaced.

If the parcel does not pick up the parcel on time at the relay point, or does not respond to carrier notifications within the allotted time, the parcel will be returned to us at our expense. Depending on the condition of the products, it is possible to re-ship the items at the customer's expense and responsibility.

Damaged packages

We protect the items and our packages as best as possible so that they arrive in good condition at our customers' homes, but it may happen that a package is shaken or damaged during transport.

Refusing a package does not mean that we will refund your order. Delivery is the responsibility of the customer. We offer on our site the choice between several carriers, with prices generally adapted to the quality of their services. We do not make margins on transport and we leave the choice in order to make our products most accessible to everyone.

If you receive a damaged box, we invite you to accept it and send us photos of the outside of the box and the products inside. In this way we will be able to best estimate the best decision to make. A damaged box does not necessarily mean that the products inside are unusable. Only a description with photos will make it possible to determine this correctly.

FOR OUTSIDE CONTINENT SHIPMENTS:

Sending mycelia outside continental Europe is often expensive and risky. Mycelium is a fresh product which has a limited lifespan, even more limited if temperatures are high. However, mycelia may be exposed to variable temperatures, customs delays or other problems that compromise the quality of the mycelia. Furthermore, in several regions of the world you will need an import permit (to be requested from your Chamber of Agriculture or other equivalent office) otherwise the mycelium will get stuck at customs.

If you live in a remote area, it's usually best to find a source of mycelium closer to home or produce it yourself.

Mycelium in liquid culture withstands transport better than mycelium on grains and is therefore more suitable for this type of shipment.

The importer takes responsibility for the various problems that may arise during transport (in particular customs blockages).

We do not provide phytosanitary certificates. We provide the packing slip and the order invoice which are generally necessary for customs clearance.

Risks and Responsibilities: Delivery is considered complete from the moment the packages are taken over by the carrier.

Depending on the destinations and times of the year, temperatures may affect the proper preservation of mycelium during transport (>25°).

Delivery is the customer's responsibility. Mycosphere is not responsible for any potential deterioration of products during transport, due to temperature, delivery delays, customs clearance, or storage conditions at the pickup point, for example (non-exhaustive list).

Mycosphere is not responsible if the package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, their absence during delivery, or exceeding the relay point's deadline, for example.

We have the option to ship refrigerated if necessary (shipping costs are higher).

Returns: For living products (mycelium), returns are not possible. Transport conditions cannot be guaranteed (temperature, shocks, etc.). During a return, mycelium undergoes a second transport and would not withstand a third transport, so it is considered lost and will be replaced.

If the customer does not pick up the package on time at the relay point or does not respond to the carriers' notifications within the specified time, the package is returned to us at our expense. Depending on the condition of the products, it is possible to resend the items at the customer's expense and responsibility.

Damaged Packages:

We do our best to protect items and our packages to ensure they arrive in good condition for our customers, but it may happen that a package is shaken or damaged during transport.

Refusing a package does not mean that we will refund your order. Delivery is the customer's responsibility. If you receive a damaged box, we invite you to accept it and send us photos of the outside of the box and the products inside. This way, we can best estimate the best course of action. A damaged box does not necessarily mean that the products inside are unusable. Only a description with photos will accurately determine this.

Furthermore, in several regions of the world, you will need an import permit (to be requested from your Chamber of Agriculture or equivalent office) or else the mycelium will be blocked at customs.

If you live in a remote region, it is generally preferable to find a source of mycelium closer to you or produce it yourself.
