📋 Use
If you cannot use the block immediately, you can keep it cool (around 8°C) for 1 to 2 weeks. However, we recommend opening the block soon after receipt. This variety prefers temperatures between 20 and 30°C, ideally around 25°C.
To obtain a bright pink color, ensure a good amount of light. Make a cut on the side of the block at the substrate level, expel the air from the bag, and place it with the opening on the side. Keep the bag moist until buds appear, with humidity between 80 and 90%. Use our mini spray or our professional misters to maintain optimal moisture.

🏡 Where to grow it?
Grow indoors (kitchen, garage, cellar) or in a warm, well-lit place. Pink oyster mushrooms need indirect light and good ventilation. Avoid drafts and direct heat sources.
📦 Harvest and storage
Harvest the clusters before the edges of the caps curl up and begin to fade. Pink oyster caps grow quickly, sometimes doubling in size in one day. Harvest as soon as growth slows to ensure a tender texture and bright color. Twist the clusters off by turning them on themselves. Remove any remaining stem pieces from the substrate and keep it moist until the next harvest.
Pink oysters keep for about 2-3 days in a paper bag in the fridge. For longer storage, you can dry them.
💡 Tips
To encourage growth and productivity of the second and third harvests:
- Re-moisten the bags by soaking them overnight in water, then drain and return them to cultivation.
- Give a cold shock by placing the block overnight in a cool place (fridge or outside) to stimulate the next fruiting.
