What is a laminar flow hood?

A laminar flow hood draws in air, passes it through a pre-filter then a HEPA H14 filter, and returns clean and uniform air as a steady flow. You thus work “within” a curtain of filtered air that limits the entry of spores, dust, and particles into your open containers.

The HEPA H14 filter retains ≥ 99.995% of particles ≥ 0.3 µm, including fine dust, spores, and biological microparticles.

Use in room positive pressure

The PureFlow 600 can also be used as a filtered air supply unit to create slight positive pressure in a small room (principle: more filtered air entering than air leaving), which limits the entry of unfiltered air when doors are opened.

The PureFlow 600 is covered by a 12-month warranty from the delivery date, for any manufacturing defect or component defect under normal use.

• What the warranty covers: manufacturing defects (chassis/frame), fan/electronics, switch/dimmer (if present), wiring, assembly, and abnormal operation related to a defect.
• What the warranty does not cover: normal wear, consumables (prefilter, HEPA filter), clogging, transport damage not reported within the deadline, improper installation, use in an unsuitable environment, or any modification/repair carried out by a third party.

Note: the warranty applies to the product itself (filtration unit/hood). The filters (HEPA and prefilter) are consumables and are not covered under wear and tear. For quick processing, keep the original packaging and inspect the product upon receipt.
