Versatile Worker – Mushroom Production

The Mycosphere is a Belgian company recognized for the quality of its mushroom-based products, combining scientific rigor, artisanal innovation, and ethical commitment.

We produce mycelium, culture substrates, and dietary supplements based on medicinal mushrooms. Our products are mainly distributed through our online store: www.lamycosphere.com.

As part of our development, we are looking for a reliable and motivated production worker for the season (from 09/29/2025 to 05/31/2026) in 4-5 days / weeks.

MISSIONS

Here are the main tasks:

  • Substrate production : bagging, folding, handling, pasteurization.

  • Logistics : order preparation, packing.

  • Stock management : packaging, storage, inventories.

  • Laboratory work : sowing under hood, sterile conditions (masks, gloves, gowns), strict adherence to hygiene procedures.

  • Care : daily cleaning of equipment, tools and surfaces. Cleanliness is essential to ensure production quality.

The tasks are physical and repetitive, but varied.

 

PROFILE SOUGHT

  • Good physical condition : this position involves regular handling of more or less heavy loads (up to 25 kg). The work is mostly done standing, in a warehouse where the temperature can be low in winter and hot in summer.

  • Experience in manual or physical work : experience in construction, agriculture, warehouse, production or logistics is an asset.

  • Rigor and autonomy : you are able to follow precise procedures, work independently, and have attention to detail.

  • Motivation and team spirit : you want to learn, invest yourself in your work, and you appreciate working in a small team where reliability and cooperation are important.

  • Mobility : you have a personal vehicle or can easily get to Lonzée train station. Living nearby is an advantage.

 

 

CONDITIONS

  • Period : from 09/29/2025 to 05/31/2026

  • Working hours : 4 to 5 days/week (to be discussed depending on profile)

  • Hours : 9:00 AM – 5:21 PM (30 min lunch break + 15 min/day)

  • Contract : Fixed-term contract, with possibility of advancement depending on opportunities

  • Compensation : €13.5 gross/hour
